A customer from Tanzania contacted us to build a compact indoor playground for a local commercial space. The client was looking for a way to create an attractive entertainment venue for children while making efficient use of the available space.
After learning about the site conditions and target visitors, our design team proposed a customized indoor playground solution covering about 100㎡, combining safety, play value, and colorful visual appeal.

Project Site Background
Before starting the project, the client shared a video of the venue where the indoor playground would be installed.
The location was previously used as a kinde`rgarten. After the kindergarten closed due to poor operation, the space became available for rent. The client saw an opportunity to transform the venue into a children’s entertainment space and decided to convert it into an indoor playground.
Indoor Playground Customization Process
Initial Layout Proposal
After receiving the site dimensions, our design team prepared an initial layout based on the available 100㎡ space and the client’s requirements.
The plan included a compact multi-level indoor playground with several popular play elements such as slides, a ball pool, climbing obstacles, and interactive soft play features. The goal was to make full use of the space while creating a safe and engaging play environment for children.
Revised Design Plan
After reviewing the first design proposal, the client requested several adjustments to better suit their ideas and the layout of the venue.
Our design team optimized the arrangement of some play elements and improved the overall layout. The updated design provided a more balanced use of space and a clearer play area structure. The client was satisfied with the final design plan.
Additional Equipment and Operational Supplies
After confirming the final playground layout, the client also discussed several additional details related to the operation and visual appearance of the playground.
According to the client’s preference, our design team prepared two different color schemes for the playground floor mats and incorporated them into the updated design renderings so the client could better visualize the final result.
One design featured a red and yellow color combination, while the other used a different contrasting color layout. After reviewing both options, the client chose the red and yellow floor mat design, which created a bright and energetic atmosphere suitable for a children’s play environment.
In addition to the playground equipment, the client also decided to purchase several operational items from us to help prepare the venue for opening. These included:
- A children’s rocking machine placed near the entrance to attract kids
- A simple cashier counter for ticketing
- Office chairs and children’s chairs
- Special playground socks required for entering the play area
By sourcing these items together with the playground equipment, the client was able to prepare the venue more efficiently before opening.
Container Loading and Shipment
After confirming the final design, production was arranged according to the approved drawings. All structural components, soft padding, safety nets, and plastic parts were manufactured and carefully inspected before packaging.
During container loading, our team organized the equipment carefully to ensure safe transportation and efficient use of container space.
Installation of the Indoor Playground
Once the equipment arrived in Tanzania, the client organized a local installation team to assemble the playground.
We provided detailed installation drawings along with remote technical guidance to assist with the installation process. With proper preparation, the assembly progressed smoothly.

The client was satisfied with the overall cooperation process, including the design communication, equipment production, shipment, and installation support.
During the trial operation of the playground, the client shared a short video with us showing the completed play area and children enjoying the facilities. It was great to see the space successfully transformed from a former kindergarten into a lively indoor playground.
