After the success of their first indoor playground project in Tanzania (around 100㎡), the client quickly gained popularity among local families. The playground attracted many children every day, and the business performed far better than expected.
Encouraged by the strong market response, the client decided to expand their business by building a larger indoor playground of approximately 350㎡. At the same time, they also began planning to develop their own local brand for children’s entertainment.
Because of the positive experience during the first cooperation — including design communication, production quality, shipping support, and installation guidance — the client chose to work with us again for the new project.
Project Site Background
The client’s first indoor playground was located in a street-side building that previously operated as a kindergarten. After the kindergarten closed, the client rented the venue and converted it into an indoor playground. The project quickly became popular among local families, attracting many children every day.
Encouraged by the strong results, the client decided to expand the business and invest in a larger location. For the new project, they rented a 350㎡ shop space inside a shopping mall, aiming to build a bigger and more attractive indoor playground.
Indoor Playground Design Process
After receiving the CAD drawing and site dimensions provided by the client, our design team created the initial indoor playground layout based on the available space and the client’s requirements.
The client carefully reviewed the first design proposal and suggested several adjustments to better match their business plan and target visitors. After further communication and revisions, we finalized the design and received the client’s confirmation before moving forward to production.
Manufacturing and Packaging
After the design was confirmed, production began in our factory. Our manufacturing team carefully produced all components according to the approved design and safety standards.
Once production was completed, the equipment was professionally packed for international shipping to ensure protection during transportation. The packed playground equipment was then loaded into containers and shipped to Tanzania.
Installation and Client Feedback
After receiving the goods, the client organized the installation locally with the help of our installation guidance and instructions.
During the installation process, the client shared several photos with us showing the playground being assembled step by step. The project progressed smoothly, and the playground gradually took shape on site.
Upgrading the First Playground Area
In addition to the new 350㎡ playground, the client also decided to upgrade part of their first playground location.
Originally, a section of the venue had been reserved as an office area. However, since the playground became very popular, the client wanted to convert this space into an additional play zone to accommodate more children.
Two new play elements were added to this section:
- Volcano slide tower (large trumpet slide)
- Kids role-play supermarket area
Our design team created a new layout plan integrating these features into the existing playground, helping the client make better use of the space while enhancing the play experience.
Additional Inflatable Bouncers for the Entrance Area
To attract more children and increase foot traffic, the client also ordered two small inflatable bounce houses from us to place at the entrance of their street-side playground.
The two inflatable units were sized:
- 4.3 × 4.3 × 3 m
- 4 × 6 × 3 m
These colorful inflatables help catch the attention of passing families and create a lively atmosphere at the entrance.
The client also asked us to help source custom indoor playground grip socks with their brand name and logo. Our designer created the sock design according to their requirements, and we helped select a cost-effective manufacturer based on the approved design. The client finally ordered 5,000 pairs of custom socks.
